Learn an ancient technique with a contemporary twist or continue on your encaustic journey. Paint with melted beeswax and damar resin to create two small paintings. In this workshop you will learn to layer transparent and opaque paint, fuse it to a surface and build a painting. Techniques will include drawing onto each layer of paint, using a wax writer, and manipulating the layers of paint with a heat gun. As you become familiar with different techniques new ones will be introduced.
